I would have to say that my parents are to blame for my draw to working with wood. ;) My mother is a carver and introduced me to pyrography (wood burning) because she uses it to highlight details on her carvings. My father is a wood turner and taught me all he knows and still helps me with what ever problems I encounter. In fact, the two of us sometimes work together, his turning and my burning, and those results are seen here too. I don't know what else to say but that I enjoy sharing my art and knowing that others enjoy it too.

I knew that I have not been here in some time, I just didn't realize how long. This summer has been a busy one, and not all of it has been art like. I do have some new pieces done but the pics aren't ready or not taken yet. Soon. Like in the next day or three.

I would like to take a moment to thank everyone that commented while I was gone, and welcome the two new watchers. I always appreciate what you think and having you telling me about it.

Here is to some new art. :D
